iStrings Aviation Capital ("the Company") recognizes the protection and proper management of personal information as a social responsibility, and has established the following Privacy Policy.

1. Basic Policy

The company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Guidelines on Personal Information Protection in the Financial Industry, and other related laws, guidelines, etc. ("laws and regulations"), and strives for the proper handling, management, and protection of personal information.

2. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

  1. Personal information will be acquired in accordance with laws and regulations through appropriate methods. Also, in accordance with laws and regulations, we will announce, notify, or clearly state the purpose for using the acquired personal information.
  2. Information related to political views, faith (religion, thought, or creed), labor union membership, race or ethnic group, family origin or legal domicile, health or medical treatment, sexual orientation, and criminal records will not be acquired, used, or provided to third parties, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
  3. Personal information will not be handled beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without the consent of the person, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
  4. We will provide appropriate and prompt processing of claims on the handling of personal information.

3. Purpose of Using Personal Information

We acquire personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To engage in Type II Financial Instruments Business
  2. To engage in aircraft-related assets selling/buying, exchange, leasing, utilizing, and management businesses
  3. To engage in aircraft-related assets advisory and asset management businesses
  4. To respond to inquiries or requests for information materials etc.
  5. To verify the customer identification
  6. To conduct administrative work for the customer’s business transaction
  7. For employment screening of officers and employees and personnel management after hiring
  8. For smooth and appropriate execution of the company’s business
  9. To execute businesses incidental or related to the above
  10. To designate or provide to third parties within the scope necessary to achieve the above purposes

4. Security Control Measures for Personal Information

The personal information held by the company will be appropriately and carefully managed, with the necessary and appropriate security control measures applied to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, leakage, etc.

5. Outsourcing of the Handling of Personal Information

The handling of personal information held by the Company may be outsourced to external contractors. In such cases, the Company will select contractors that take sufficient measures for the protection of personal information, and supervise the contractor in a necessary and appropriate way.
The above outsourcing includes contractors outside Japan. In such cases, the contractor is limited to those that meet certain requirements of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations.

6. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  1. When consent is given by the person
  2. When provided by laws and regulations
  3. When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and the consent of the individual is difficult to obtain
  4. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and the consent of the individual is difficult to obtain
  5. Cases in which it is necessary to cooperate with a state institution, a local public body, or their entrusted entity in executing the operations provided by laws, and obtaining the consent of the person might impede executing the operations concerned
  6. Other cases in which disclosure or provision is permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations.

7. Procedures for Disclosure/Amendment/Suspension etc. of Acquired Personal Information

To request disclosure, correction/addition/deletion, suspension of use or provision to third parties, erasure etc. ("disclosure etc.") of personal information acquired by the Company, please direct inquiries to the contact listed in item 9. below. We will inform you the details of the prescribed procedure for disclosure etc.

8. Continuous Improvement

The Company will continuously review this Privacy Policy, and make efforts to further improve protection of personal information.
